Tyrokafteri, meaning "spicy cheese," is a fiery feta dip that brings the heat to the Greek meze table. This addictive spread combines creamy feta with roasted red peppers and hot peppers, creating a dip that's tangy, smoky, and pleasantly spicy.
Our tyrokafteri starts with quality feta cheese that we whip until smooth. We add roasted red peppers for sweetness and smokiness, plus fresh hot peppers (or dried chili flakes) for that signature kick. A generous glug of olive oil brings everything together into a creamy, spreadable consistency.
The beauty of tyrokafteri is in its versatility - spread it on crusty bread, use it as a dip for vegetables, or serve it alongside grilled meats. The heat level can be adjusted to your preference, but we like ours with a definite kick that builds as you eat. It's the kind of dip that keeps you coming back for more.
